WELCOME TO ST MARY MAGDALEN'S CATHOLIC PRIMARY AND NURSERY SCHOOL

On behalf of the children, staff and governors, I offer you a warm welcome to St Mary Magdalen’s Catholic Primary School. I hope you find our website clear and informative as it is designed to give you a flavour of the vibrant life at our school, the work of our pupils and the quality of education we deliver!

As a Catholic school, we provide all of our children with the opportunity to grow as young people and encourage and support them in developing a closer relationship with God. Our school motto ‘Together in God’s Love We Stand; Learning and Friendship Hand in Hand’ was written by our school community and inspiration for this was drawn from our school ethos, where we believe that ‘each person is a unique creation of God and we therefore respect and care for their individual needs.’

If you require any further information or you would like your child to join our school, please make an appointment to come and see our school in action. I look forward to meeting you.

Mrs Gemma Nunes
Head of School

Cost of Living: We all feel the impact of rising costs in our daily lives—from groceries to housing and everything in between. Understanding how the cost of living affects us can help us make informed financial decisions and better manage our budgets. There are some upcoming Cost of Living Workshops provided by the Citizens Advice Bureau. These programs specifically support women and need to be booked in advance - see attached poster for details. Attendance: Thank you to everyone that came along to our Parents Attendance meeting yesterday. We will be sending a separate PING soon about the meeting and what we are focusing on in the coming months World Book Day: Don't forget, we are celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 6th March by dressing up in our cosy pyjamas for story time or as a storybook character. Please reassure your children that they do not need to buy a new costume or any other item that represents a character. Have a wonderful weekend. Thanks SMM
