Welcome to Hangleton school.

We are delighted that you have chosen to join us! 

If this is your first experience as a parent at a primary school, it can be pretty nerve wracking at the best of times and being on lockdown isn't going to make it any easier! For those of you who have done this before, this time will be different.

Although we have dates in the diary - a new parents evening, 'stay and play' dates and meet the teacher, we are currently not sure whether any of those will be able to go ahead. However, we are going to do everything we can to help you and your children settle in and be ready to start school in September. 

Contingency Plans

We have been thinking through how we can support you and your children in transition from nursery school to primary school in these difficult and unusual circumstances. Exactly what we do will depend on how the world changes in the next few weeks  but our first step is a series of videos made by our EYFS leader Sarah Kennett to welcome you to the school, meet the staff and see the classrooms.

What We Need From You

If you wish to take up your offer of a place, could you return your acceptance form electronically, by post or by dropping it in to school when you are out for your daily exercise. the offices are staffed as usual, between 9 and 3, so please do feel free to pop your forms in if you are passing. 

Could you also make sure we have a current e-mail address for you so we can set up more regular and easier communication.
